The 7th Annual CHD Awareness Walk will be held Saturday, February 18th from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Owenton First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Owenton, Kentucky. Over 400 people attended the event in 2011! Not only did we raise money for God's Special Little Hearts but we glorified God in the process!
If you would like to be put on our distribution list to receive information on the 2012 CHD Awareness Walk, please contact us and we will be sure to place you on the list and you will receive information as it is available.
If you are a heart family and would like your child's photo included in the slide show that plays during the Walk, please e-mail a current picture of your child to Katie Columbia. Adult CHD'ers can also be included in the slide show. Just e-mail your picture and we will include it. Adult CHD'ers give so much hope to younger parents of a CHD'er and are an inspiration so we enjoy seeing an adult that is thriving.
Proceeds from the 2012 CHD Awareness Walk will be going to God's Special Little Hearts so we can continue to help families that are affected by congenital heart defects.
If you can't attend the Walk but would still like to donate, please click on the "Donate" button above or to the left and you will be able to donate online using PayPal or you will be given our mailing address where you can mail a tax-deductible donation. A receipt for your tax purposes can be mailed to you if you request one.

Although the purpose of the Walk is to raise money for research and our organization, we also hold the walk to give God the praise and the glory for standing by the children that are battling congenital heart defects. These children go through multiple testing, lengthy hospital stays, suffer through open heart surgery, battle feeding issues, have physical and other therapy issues, have to live day-to-day with physical limitations that don't let them keep up with other children their age. If it wasn't for God performing miracles and giving the doctors the technology and skills they need, the children living today with a CHD would not be here!
